In the 3rd of a series of 8 tours around Cape Town, we were hosted by Melvyn Matthews on a carnival tour. We visited the Woodstock Starlights in Woodstock, a goema drum maker in Mitchell's Plain and a klopse team in Mitchell's Plain. Goematronica is the electronic offshoot of the Goemarati project. From February to September 08 The Cape Town Partnership is hosting Cape Town city electronic music producers on a series of tours through that connect them to the history, legacy and diversity of the city.
